Cricket, almost everyone if not played, must've heard about this game. And in country like ours, the craze of cricket is almost in every parts of the country.
Nepali CRICKET has been striding in a positive path of development from the past few years. The players, coaches, their dedication, they prove out how important this sport has become.
Everest Premiere League, in short; EPL has proved out to become the best cricket tournament conducted within the country. However, the season 1 of EPL didn't went good as expected but the season 2 looks amazingly perfect.
EPL includes the participation of national players from the senior side, the under 19s as well as some other renowned cricket players. The former Indian captain, Ajay Jadega is also to witness the EPL. His presence will definitely encourage the cricket board to hold further tournaments like this.
The tournament will be held from 24th of September to 3rd October. Consecutive matches will take place excluding a day before the finals (3rd October).
Almost more than 5.4 million Nepali rupees has been spent only in paying the players. According to sources, 12 thousand Nepali Rupees will be given to each player for a single match. Further prizes are also fixed for the man of the match, man of the series and many more.
So let's just hope Nepali cricket side will be doing a good progress now with our immense support.
